Abstract: In this paper we study robustness and
sensitivity properties of a sampledĀdata feedback system with a
Generalized SampledĀdata Hold Function (GSHF). We argue that
shifting nonminimum phase zeros using GSHF control can lead to
difficulties unless the zero is outside the closed loop bandwidth.
